    Description

I am selling my beloved van after four years of owning it. I am very emotionally attached but unfortunately can’t indefinitely keep holding on to it while unable to travel to or live in the US anymore. I’ve taken it to Mexico, up the cost to Oregon, Yosemite multiple times and Taho - It was absolute magic and I made it work for every range of temperature. This van is a part of me and I’ll be very sad to see it go.
I bought the van in 2017 at only 95,000 miles on it and she has served me really well since. I have not had to deal with any major mechanical issues and I believe she has a long life ahead of her. She only has ~115k miles on her today which is very low for a 2006 Sprinter (golden year of the Sprinter before all the electronic components that break often were added). I’m happy to discuss any history further for folks interested.
I did the build myself - there is a layer of insulation under the wood panelling and a large built in bed with storage space underneath. I am nearly 5'10 and can stand comfortably inside and walk around. This is the second iteration of the build I’ve gone with and can speak in depth as to my decisions there. It’s simple and spacious. It has a sink with a hand pump and grey water tank and a large chest for storage (which doubles as a seat). I have a DYI compost toilet that comes with it as well. For showers I used a cheap usb rechargeable pump that I paired with a bucket. Unfortunately I’ve since misplaced it but happy to place an order for you if interested. It does not currently come with power. I was using an external battery bank (Goal Zero) the whole time I’ve owned it and I met all my needs, however it is now shot due to sitting in place for too long during the pandemic - so you would need to plan in your own power solution if you will need it.
You should know that if you are interested in the van, I would be coordinating with you from abroad for the sale which might be less smooth that if I could be there in person. If you are a serious prospective buyer and interested in viewing it, I have a person on sight available to do viewings in Oakley, CA. Please reach out with any questions - happy to jump on a video/audio call to chat face to face and tell you more about its history or anything like that!
