DEATH MASK
It is my pleasure to present for auction items belonging to the International President of the Lions Club, HARRY J. ASLAN and his wife. These items have been recently acquired from a museum in Kingsburg, California and many were displayed in the museum. They were gifts to Mr. Aslan from several international dignitaries
from China to New Zealand, Philippines and beyond.
This auction is for an Anaktuvuk
Alaskan "Grandfather's
Death Mask". The mask is created with natural materials and is mounted in a nice shadow box frame and ready to hang. The overall size of the frame is 13.5" wide by 21 5/8" long.
The inner oval part is 9 1/2" by 14 3/8". It was a gift to Mr Aslan and his wife and on display at the museum with the notecard. This is in very good condition and I really don't see any issues to report.
PLEASE NOTE:
The mask art is
being shown as found and has NOT been cleaned.I use a macro setting to capture as much detail as possible. Keep in mind when using the zoom tool that you are seeing the item MAGNIFIED and enlarged many times over. This exaggerates everything.
