    by Hopi artist Richard Gorman.  Stunning solid wood spirit mask hand painted with Native American symbols that include four directions, planets and stars, and hummingbird.  Colorful feathers at top are from many different birds.  The earrings and shell medallion at bottom are also carved from wood.  A unique new art form from this accomplished Hopi artist.  Signed on back by artist and ready to hang on wall.

    Richard Gorman was born in Arizona in 1962 and is affiliated with the Hopi tribe of his mother, Clara Pahuma.  He is a self taught, award winning artist who is well known for his paintings and Kachina carvings.
