The
GUARDIAN
War Bonnet in BLACK is made using quality imitation owl main feathers which have been colored by hand & tipped with black leather spots & genuine horse hair. These feathers remain soft with a natural feel & look of actual owl feathers. No stiffness or clumping like painted imitation feathers. The feathers bottoms are wrapped in vivid red wraps & hand sewn onto a felt skull cap which is covered in matching fluffs. A single decorated honor feather is positioned in the middle of the skull cap in the back of the bonnet. A thick row of black feather fluffs are aligned on top of the wraps. The beaded brow band & matching rosettes are beaded & sewn by hand. Beading colors & designs will vary. Strips of white rabbit fur are wrapped in matching color wraps & used for drops on either side along with red leather fringes. Genuine coyote tails may be substituted for drops at no additional charge. This bonnet honors the owl's majesty & position. Display it with your collection or wear with your regalia.
