Bread
and Butter Plates in the Caprice pattern by Castleton China.  Castleton made Caprice
in the U.S.A. from circa 1940/45 to 1972.  Caprice pattern is a 2" blue-grey floral motif
border with a gold accent ring in the center and gold rim trim.  Material is porcelain.
Bottom stamp is Castleton hallmark with printed CASTLETON CHINA immediately
below and CAPRICE pattern name at the bottom.  Cups have only the hallmark with
printed CASTLETON.

Careful examination of the item reveals no flakes, chips, cracks, crazing, loss of pattern
or evidence of repair or restoration.  ONE saucer and ONE bread and butter plate have light
surface scratches.  The remaining TWELVE pieces are free from surface scratches.  Gold
center ring accent and gold rim trim appear 100% to my untrained eyes.  Bottom stamps
with hallmark and pattern name are completely readable.
