Latest state girls soccer poll: Section III’s best roll into semis near top of rankings

Syracuse, N.Y. — Section III’s best girls soccer teams hovered at or near the top of their respective classes in this week’s New York State Sportswriters Association rankings, released Tuesday.
Heading into this week’s state semifinals, Marcellus (20-0-2) remained at the pinnacle in Class B. The Mustangs are looking at a test against No. 2 Bronxville, out of Section I.
